Sean Towey has work published or forthcoming in American Literary Review, Crazyhorse, North American Review, Barrelhouse, Chicago Quarterly Review, Sport Literate, the minnesota review, Hobart, Word Riot, The Rumpus, and elsewhere. His essay “Low-Voltage Hope” appears in the 2019 Orison Anthology. He earned his PhD from Florida State University, where he was the recipient of a 2016 Emerging Writer Award, chosen by Debra Monroe. In 2019, he was a Tennessee Williams Scholar at the Sewanee Writers’ Conference. He is represented by Wendy Levinson of the Harvey Klinger Agency. He grew up in Tacoma, and he currently lives in St. Louis.
